Classes & Workshops
We offer jewelry fabrication classes, workshops, and open studio bench rentals.
You will learn what the jewelry tools and machinery are and how to use them, safety procedures, piercing and sawing, texturing, forming, soldering, filing, polishing & buffing, stone setting, wax carving, jewelry rendering, and gem identification. You will also learn a lot of "jewelry secrets" which will be invaluable as you begin to build your own studio.
Our classes will consist of no more than 6 students. We will have half and full-day workshops and open studio time where you can work on your own projects and have access to the studio tools & equipment. Our classes will include beginner, intermediate, and advanced skill levels. All jewelry tools and supply kits will be provided as part of the class. The cost of the class or workshop will range between $50-$295, depending on the length of the class, skills, and supplies provided.
- Students will receive 1 complimentary Open Studio Session pass for each class they attend.
- We are also partnered with a few large jewelry supply companies where as a student, you will receive a discount when you purchase supplies and/or specific tools. You will also be eligible for a discount on in-stock jewelry supply items.
- Upon review, we will offer to sell student's work, and charge a commission fee.
The class instructor (Tonia Rockwell) has been formally trained and certified as a Graduate Jeweler, Graduate Gemologist, and Jewelry Designer at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts and Gemological Institute of America. We will also be inviting guest artisan jewelers to teach workshops.
